Stills to support charity at Secret Garden Party

When charity and music go hand in hand it always makes for a beautiful result, and with the festival season in full swing now’s the perfect time to see the fruits flourish – something duo Stills have embraced. As part of the Secret Garden Party this week, in collaboration with XFM’s own Eddie Temple Morris, the electronic pairing will be DJing in support of The Calm Zone. A charity that exists to prevent the suicide of males in the UK, its supporters include Comic Relief, Creamfields, MTV and Topman and is a great cause when helping to raise awareness of an unfortunate truth that accounts for more deaths than murder, road death and HIV/AIDs combined (according to 2011 statistics in England and Wales).

Counting down the days till The Secret Garden Party, Stills will be DJing at the Temple of Boom stage on Friday, curated by Eddie TM, so be sure to check them out if you’re heading to the festival this week. It’s going to be epic. And to get you in the mood, a remix of their track 1KX has just dropped online courtesy of Latchmere.

About Stills:

The man behind the synths, Felix, is now free to explore his own creativity and talent as a manual man behind the keys making music that really gets the heart pounding. Alumni alongside Tom Vek, Andree (the second half of Stills), worked in tandem with Felix’s production to put her songwriting skills to good use. Catching the attention of Groove Armada who remixed their initial track UR Mine, their relationship went further when their second track Rain featured the vocals of Saint  Saviour of Groove Armada, Paper Romance fame.
