Legendary Pop Art designer Sir Peter Blake has collaborated with Oxjam, the nationwide Oxfam music festival, to produce a number of limited edition t-shirts in aid to help make poverty history.

The mastermind behind the infamous Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover has put his hand to the “I love Oxjam” t-shirts of which there are only 1,000 in the country. Exclusive in Gloucestershire to the Cheltenham Oxfam shop you can wear your heart on your sleeve and help raise funds for the worthy cause by purchasing your limited edition t-shirt for the bargain price of £20.

If having a slice of pop-culture memorabilia isn’t enough, when you purchase your t-shirt you’ll also receive a certificate of authenticity signed by Sir Peter Blake himself. Inspired by the iconic designs of the “I love London” series, the apparel are organic and ethically made by Creatively Recycled Empire Ltd, so not only will your t-shirt spread the Oxfam love you’ll also be satisfied knowing that it has been made with helping the planet in mind too.

This year Oxjam Cheltenham is proud to have the support of internationally famed artist and ‘Godfather’ of Pop Art; Sir Peter Blake in the form of an exclusive artwork design. Oxjam Chiswick on behalf of Oxjam Cheltenham will be producing a striking limited edition unisex fairtrade organic t-shirt bearing the design to help raise funds for the fantastic cause which is Oxfam GB.

Blake’s back catalogue of graphic designs in the history of pop culture also includes the sleeves for the Band Aid single “Do They Know its Christmas”, the cover for the Oasis greatest hits album “Stop the Clocks” and The Who’s “Face Dances” amongst many others.
